Bashar says there are many reasons why we might be creating or experiencing dis-ease. We could have planned it out in our life path as a spirit, because it’s a challenge that will help our soul grow. Or we could be helping other people figure out a cure for that dis-ease so we’re actually being of service to humanity by having the condition.
But mainly he says it’s simply the temporary product of a fear based negative belief system within us that we need to deal with. It’s reflective of the uneasiness and dis-comfort we have within ourselves because of those belief systems. So it’s a message, a reflection of our inner state, telling us that we need to deal with those beliefs and become a more positive person.
He says that if we are honest in our self investigation about what it is that is causing it, then it can be a positive experience as we learn lessons from it.
In talking about the cause of cancer, he says that in general it’s the idea of stress and resistance to being our natural true selves. Because then our body is not certain who it is, and therefore it starts to become something other, because the person is trying to become something they’re not. Cancer reflects the idea of them not being themselves, by turning into a foreign element. It is the stress and resistance of not being our true selves.
Many people have belief systems in which they experience trying to be someone they’re not, instead of being themselves. They’re trying to be who other people think they should be. Then they’re sending a message to their body that they are not themselves, and therefore the cells in the body become something other than themselves and become foreign and attack the body.
We all have a particular path that’s true for us. Many people do not walk their true path. So when someone doesn’t walk their true path, it is just going to offer a lot of struggle, pain and resistance in their lives. That turns into cancer because they’re not flowing on their path.
Bashar says there are exceptions. Sometimes people can create that, not because they need to learn a lesson from it, but because someone else they know may need to learn a lesson from it, by dealing with and interacting with them.
He says we have to take it on a person-by-person basis as to why they may have created the cancer experience. But in general it is because there is resistance to the natural self and the body picks up on that, and therefore turns into something else other than them.
