Hi, I’m Mike McKenney the founder of this Basharfocus blog, and I’d like to share my spiritual journey because I think it’s interesting. I was raised Roman Catholic and had 12 years of Catholic education. What I sensed from my teachers (nuns, priests, brothers) was that they were all weird people that I didn’t want to be around.
Looking back, I can see that as a youth I was at least partially empathic. This caused me to not fit in with most people, so I mistakenly assumed something was wrong with me, and I took on false beliefs about my self worth. So I withdrew into myself and began reading many spiritual books recommended by my father. They were all couched in religious language. While I found these books to be very interesting, they had ZERO applicability in my life. I thought of them as just pretty poetry, but not useful.
I remember mistakenly thinking that methods for god realization may have existed in the ancient past but had gotten lost through the millennia and are not available any more. So I stopped searching.
👉 Fast forward many decades later to 2005. Through an unusual series of events I came across Abraham-Hicks and my life changed. I did what they said and it worked! I deeply resonated with their message and devoured everything by them I could find. Their message hit me like a ton of bricks and I experienced waves of Joy that I had not experienced before. While I love their message, I found it to be simple. Over time, I found myself wanting to know more. They seemed to avoid offering any deeper explanations for the way the universe works.
✅ So then I read all the Jane Roberts/Seth material and Robert Monroe’s books about Out-of-body experiences. While deeply interesting, I found they really didn’t expand on the Abraham-Hicks message.
️🌟Then in 2024, somehow I found Bashar on YouTube. His spiritual knowledge is just what I have been wanting my whole life. Like Abraham-Hicks teaching, I started doing the things he said and they worked! They are 100% applicable. I wanted to understand all his teaching thoroughly, so I created my blog to help me understand. The act of editing and retyping his material really helped cement the teachings in my mind.
🪞 What drew me to him was the propound spiritual knowledge he possesses. And gradually I began to accept what he was saying about ET stuff. It was a real eye-opener to realize that the two topics were deeply linked. I’ve never been a woo-woo believer until Bashar explained about permission slips. Then I understood. The things I have learned from Bashar over this past year could fill a book (or at least a blog). Truthfully, I am finding that I am having a hard time relating to people who don’t have a thirst for knowledge to want to know more.
👨👩👧👦 I find it interesting that the knowledge I was looking for earlier in my life is finally available. While I understand my part in attracting what I was ready to receive, I also believe that the message itself has evolved over time. I get very excited when I think about the children today being raised in this environment, and being taught this info by their parents. We are evolving upwards!
I believe the current troubles we are seeing in the word are the last hurrah of the old ways of thinking. They are exposing themselves to be something what we don’t want anymore, so we will as a society turn our backs on them, and soon make different choices as we move into the future.
⚡ “Massive changes” is a good way to describe the evolution of the experiences from my parents generation to the children of today. We are in the midst of a gigantic evolution in the understanding of Consciousness. It’s an exciting time to alive! 💖🥰
