Bashar is asked what he means by belief. He replies that beliefs are a patterned system of perspectives of the situation that we are creating ourselves to be in. Our relationship to that situation; where we “stand” relative to any particular concept; how we relate to it, how it relates to us. Those are our beliefs.
We think that if we do such and such, it results in such and such. And so it does! We are setting up the equation. Beliefs are simply cause and effect equations.
We simply say if A happens, B will follow. That is our belief. We can allow A and B to be any definition we wish. And when we redefine what A and B are, it changes the entire event.
Bashar goes on to explain that in many scenarios, A can go into the B space and B can go into the A space. It does not have to be linear. Cause and effect are a single event and one does not necessarily have to come first. If we create a strong enough effect, nature not allowing there to be vacuum in creation, will supply the cause to support the effect we have created.
He says that is why many individuals go through life absolutely refusing to be happy, until they find a good enough reason or cause to be happy. If they would allow themselves to come from the point of view that they really don’t have a reason to not be happy, and allow themselves to simply create the effect of happiness, then nature will supply all of the causes to support the happiness.
He finishes with this bit of wisdom: So act as if it were already true.
