Bashar discusses the Anunnaki myth in may different sessions. He verifies that their story is basically true. It goes something like this:

They are an ancient alien race called the Anu, who came to earth around 500,000 to 300,000 years ago. They needed gold to help stabilize the atmosphere on their home planet. In order to help with this mining operation they injected some of their own DNA into the dominate hominid species on Earth at that time, and thus created a new hybrid race (the sixth) called Homo Sapiens (us).

They created males first, them made a few tweaks and upgrades when making females. Because of these genetic alterations in the feminine form, they are a little bit closer in expression to the original Anunnaki genetic strain and have more capability of accessing the knowledge of the Anunnaki. There are DNA markers that still have yet to be unlocked to release our full potential. Resonance is always the key.

These human forms were of a resonance that was capable of relating to our soul vibration so we could incarnate in the human form upon the planet.

Previously our souls were having incarnation experiences in different alien races. And that is why we have such a very rich experience and so much variety upon the earth.

They had many different DNA labs around Earth, but the primary one was in the Middle East.

They allowed themselves to be worshiped as gods, by the ancient Sumerians, Akkadians, Assyrians and Babylonians. This created the framework for religion to be in the form we know it today, where we worship intermediaries, rather than have a direct personal connect to Creation itself.

When their mission was finished, they left and returned to their home world. Over time they have evolved into the Pleiadians and a few other species.
