Bashar in Sedona – Part 1

My personal experience

I have long wanted to return to Sedona to explore the town. I had been there twice before, but only for an overnight stay. So when I heard Bashar was holding his annual conference there, that gave me the excuse I needed to return. My wife doesn’t like to travel, so I went on a solo trip. Not wanting to feel lonely or left out, before leaving, I made arrangements to carpool with 2 lovely ladies I found on the Bashar TV Community blog. That turned out to be a great decision.

My thanks to Linda, Janis, MJ, and Michelle for the wonderful discussions and for making the trip extra special. It’s nice to meet and connect with like-minded people.

I arrived in Sedona around 6:00 pm Thursday, and was just stunned to see the beautiful mountains as I drove up from Phoenix. Coming from South Florida, where everything is flat, it’s quite a change.

Arriving in Sedona

On Friday, I took a tour of the town and met two more ladies, who were also there for Bashar. While I was napping/meditating on the plane trip to Sedona, I imagined what would be the best-case scenario for my trip. And sure enough, I met Michelle and MJ on my tour.

Friday night, I went on the Stargazing tour. Following GPS, I turned into a pitch-dark, empty parking lot with no one around. Someone soon came with a flashlight to confirm that I was indeed in the right place. When everyone arrived, we took a short walk to a soccer field where telescopes were set up. Although we could see the Milky Way with the naked eye, it was faint and colorless. I found this disappointing. Even through a telescope, Saturn was just a small B&W spot of light with a line going through it. The night air was cold, and by the time it ended, I was thoroughly chilled.

I did not sleep well on any of the nights I was there, because I could feel the energy vortex of Bell Rock. My hotel was right across the street.

One evening, I woke up in the middle of the night, and the clock said 4:44. At other times, I glanced at my phone to see these…

Synchronicities

Because I believed what the event organizers said about limited parking, I made plans to go early Saturday morning and leave my car there all day (which I learned was unnecessary). This was because my hotel was a half-hour’s drive away. I picked up Linda and we drove to the Performing Arts Center (PAC), and we walked to the nearby Residence Inn, where we met Janis and had breakfast there. We met a few other people that morning who were also there for Bashar. I took advantage of every opportunity to pass out my business card.

After eating, we all walked back to the PAC and had plenty of time to talk and socialize before the doors opened.

I will detail what Bashar said each day in additional posts. With over 700 people attending, the odds of getting picked to ask a question were limited, with preference seemingly going to those in the VIP section.

After the Saturday afternoon event, we walked back to the hotel, where I took a quick nap in the lobby to refresh my energy. We decided we wanted to eat at the Golden Goose and had the Sedona Shuttle pick us up and drop us off. It’s a great service for $2 each trip. We had the shuttle take us back to the hotel. Janis was kind enough to invite us to her room, where we spent some time waiting for the nighttime meditation to start.

Before the Saturday night meditation

We took some towels and blankets with us as we walked back to the football stadium next door for the nighttime outdoor meditation. That was an amazing experience, looking up at the stars while listening to Bashar’s voice take us on a guided meditation. It lasted for what seemed like 45 minutes. My mind filled up with ideas and inspiration for artwork as I heard him speak. But we were very cold when it ended, and I dropped Janis and Linda off at their hotels.

Again that night, I didn’t sleep well, and at one point, I awoke and wrote down these affirmations that had come to me.

My life is a synchronous orchestration of daily miracles.

Miracles flow from me to all I encounter. Yes, miracles automatically flow effortlessly into my daily experience.

I creatively imagine the deepest, widest, most profound experiences in my life and watch them unfold before me effortlessly.

I am the beloved Crown of Creation, expanding the universe by my willingness to have this human experience.

Every thought, desire, focus, and feeling I have automatically produces vast unseen energetic realms where every possible probability is realized.

I am a fully empowered and unconditionally supported agent of creation, limited only by my own belief definitions and failure to imagine fully.

I fearlessly reexamine all my belief definitions to discover to what degree they are empirically true and in alignment with the viewpoint of my greater self.

I watch from a detached viewpoint as energy plays out its dance of repeated patterns of resonance and discord into my daily experience, mirroring back to me the degree of alignment or misalignment of my belief definitions.

I recognize and understand the messages being reflected back to me by my emotions, my body, and interactions with others.

I take action to transmute any misaligned belief I have with Love and acceptance, positive affirmations, and mantras.

I know that all my efforts, no matter how slight, directed at transmuting negative energy, pays HUGE dividends that instantly manifest into my daily experience.

This, and no other way, is how I live my best life.

Realizing the parking situation was not as dire as I had assumed (based on what “they” told me), we started later on Sunday morning, and I picked up Linda for a hearty breakfast at Cafe Jose. After eating, we had time to go to the Crystal Magic shop to browse and buy a few things.

I purchased Bashar’s book, “The Formula,” after the event on Sunday and was surprised to find that it provides a very in-depth explanation of the unifying Theory of Everything. Definitely worth reading twice.

Linda, Janis, and I went to dinner afterwards for a final conversation before dropping them off at their hotels and saying goodbye.

As I was dropping off Linda, I noticed the doors of the Hampton Inn where she was staying were filled with their logo, which is a hexagon. I immediately thought of my good friend Denise Perez, author of the book “Alchemic Healings”. Her life is filled with synchronicities, one of which is that she sees hexagons everywhere. As I was preparing to send her this picture, she texted me on WhatsApp saying she was thinking of me. I was stunned. We were thinking about each other at the same moment, even though we were 3 time zones away!

Sunday night, the Bashar group held a CE-5 event at the football stadium. This was a separate event from the conference and not widely publicized. As I was feeling tired, I did not want to make the long drive from my hotel to and back. And I also did not want to sit out in the cold night air again. So I decided to stay at my hotel, where I could watch a separate CE-5 event taking place across the street at Bell Rock. MJ and Michelle drove down to join me, and we had a great conversation as we watched the night sky from the outdoor patio at my hotel. At one point, we burst into song, singing “The Age of Aquarius.” We saw a few satellites and shooting stars, but that was it.

Monday, I drove north on 89A to Grasshopper Point, where I encountered beautiful Oak Creek and the roaring waters there. I was so caught up in taking photos and videos, I forgot to relax and meditate, which was one of my goals for going there. Walking was slow and treacherous across the big rocks of the dry creek beds. Many thanks to the kind gentleman who showed me the way back to the parking lot after Google Maps directed me to a cliff face. LOL.

I was exhausted from this adventure, but continued to drive north up 89A up to Oak Creek Vista, where the local Native Americans sell their crafts. It’s a beautiful scenic drive, along the switchbacks in the mountains. I was very tempted to look out the passenger window, but dared not on the narrow winding mountain road. I drove back to my hotel that afternoon for a nap, and my dinner was ice cream and leftover pizza that Janis could not eat from the night before, which I enjoyed while watching two Monday Night Football games, trying to unwind.

Most nights, my routine before going to bed was to fill the tub and soak for a while in the hot water with Epsom Salts and Baking Soda. That helped me relax and recover from the day’s activities.

I learned patience and to take things as they come. I want to thank Southwest Airlines for prioritizing my safety above all else. A 1-1/4 hour delay leaving Phoenix because of mechanical issues caused me to miss two connecting flights. While others were yelling at Southwest employees, I calmly stated my preference for them to find another airline that could take me. They informed me they don’t have that data. I stated that I thought it was poor customer service. They paid for my overnight hotel stay in Houston and gave me a voucher for $200 off my next flight. They arranged the quickest route home, even though it meant an unexpected extra stop in Orlando.

Southwest flight updates

These things happen for a reason. I call them energy dramas. I hope I was able to learn from them and transmute the energy from these lessons. It was quite a memorable trip.
