Bashar offers this simple yet powerful tool for transformation that allows us to understand something very important about the things that we feel. This diffuses and neutralizes the negative vibration in any emotion that comes up.
Anytime we have a negative feeling, or feel that things are just not right, the first step is to acknowledge it, own it. Because we cannot change what we do not own.
Bashar says no matter what it is you may feel, be it anger, hate, doubt, fear, cynicism or any other negative emotion; say out loud or to yourself:
“I am feeling_______
because I am choosing to feel_______ .
(or I think I need to, or I think I must feel _______.)
(or I believe it serves me to feel _______.)“
The critical portion is the acknowledgment that we are feeling what we’re feeling. When we begin to observe our feelings and make these statements, we will find that the vibration will become somewhat neutralized and diffused. It will help bring us back to center because we have actually completed a circuit. By repeating this mantra, we will start to rewire our brain.
Many of your false beliefs were reinforced in our upbringing in such a way so that the circuit was never allowed in your brain to actually get grounded as a complete equation or a complete thought. All that was entrained within us was to feel the negative emotion. And we were just left at that, stuck with that feeling and left to wonder and ponder what to do about it; without a tool to complete the circuit.
Just feeling negative emotion is an incomplete circuit. It only takes us halfway and doesn’t give us an opportunity to understand how to ground it in a way that allows the energy to dissipate.
Every time that we feel any negative emotion that we feel is out of alignment with your true self, we should stop and repeat the mantra above.
As soon as we do that, we will be back in control. And we will be able to, from that point forward, deal with the issue at hand (which would be the underlying belief) without getting caught up in the short circuit of just: “I feel… I feel… I feel…”; and never knowing what to do about it.
Bashar says we can also reinforce positive vibrations. Anytime we feel a positive emotion, do the same thing:
“I feel overwhelming joy and love because I choose to believe I must”.
And that will start strengthening our ability to complete the circuit when negative vibrations comes up.
That reinforcement will propel us toward the positive vibration. We want to get into the habit of doing a complete follow through to the positive side, from the negative; instead of stopping halfway and being short circuited.
He says that doing this exercise every time that we catch that emotional vibration out of alignment will literally start to rewire the electrical neurological pathways of our brain that were previously short circuited by the kind of training and upbringing we had as children. We will literally rewire our brain as we do it repeatedly again and again.
As we do this, we will become more sensitized to the vibrations that we are, and become who we are at the center of our soul.
