Bashar explains that the only reason that conflicts exists is because some people feel dis-empowered. They’ve been taught to believe they have no power and are disconnected from source, which isn’t possible.
He says that anyone that feels disconnected will feel powerless, feel out of control, feel alone, feel like a victim, and feel miserable. And if they have no idea of their connection to their own inner power, or to source, then the only way they can imagine gaining power is to try and manipulate the external reality and force others to see things their way.
Bashar reminds us of the saying: “misery loves company”. It takes a victim to make a victim.
When we see people perpetrating negative acts on others, and creating conflicts around the world, those people believe they are victims. And they are acting out, and lashing out because they want to create as many victims as they can so they won’t be alone. So they will feel connected to other victims.
Bashar explains that we can teach them by example, that they can connect in another way. We can teach them that having to force yourself on someone actually means they don’t believe in the power of what they believe in. Because if they did, then they would realize that the greatest power of all requires the gentlest subtle touch.
If it’s truly powerful, it doesn’t have to exert itself at all.
Bashar says to look at what we call Creation, All that is, or God. That is so powerful and so all pervasive that we actually can believe it doesn’t exist. That’s how light a touch it has. It doesn’t need to have a broader touch than that, because it is everything that exists. So what power does it need to exert over itself? None!
